Hi, Greetings from Randstad !!!! We have immediate job opening for Market Development Manager-India in Randstad payroll . The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to: Onboard credible sellers in your country of operation using direct and referral sales processes and build strong partnerships to develop the FV portfolio, whilst ensuring all sellers meet international and FV quality and service codes Achieve transactional and financial targets in the form of key performance indicators such as new customer conversion, seller transactional growth, product portfolio growth and competitiveness, income growth generation, and profit versus budget Actively manage local marketing, attend conferences and networking events with the intention of attracting new customers and promoting the company. Ensure regular interaction with customers to address any service needs and increase FVs share of wallet. Keep a close eye on customers' feedback to ensure that our products and services always exceed expectations and are competitive. Make frequent visits to customers and monitor and track the portfolio on a dynamic basis to recognize opportunities and threats early. Assume responsibility and be accountable for day-to-day management of the FV country portfolio. Ensure completion of periodic reviews and regular monitoring of all trading parameters within the review cycle. Develop and update account plans for each relationship and use it as a basis for regular customer interaction. Create an effective CRM system and ensure all new deals in discussion are recorded and updated electronically. Update and maintain customer information database on regular basis. Ensure that continuous and early feedback is given to the business on sales volatility, major deviations from plan, customer and 3 rd party service partner suggestions. Evolve a CRM link to the FV service team to ensure the Platforms day-to-day transaction needs are addressed and prioritised. Comply with internal policies to ensure high standards of operating consistency across the company. Ensure fulfilment of all required documentation as per FVs compliance policies and other standard operating procedures. Knowledge: Has advanced understanding of foodstuffs sales account management and export trading Has created, developed and managed diverse and profitable customer portfolios in the food industry using e-commerce or purchasing platforms Has a solid understanding of trade export & finance, buyer-seller payment cycles, quality assurance, logistics, planning and customs processes Experience: Minimum 5 years of manager-level procurement, sales and/or business development experience within industries focussing on container-export trade of food raw materials, farm products, food manufacturing, FMCG, food & beverage, restaurant chains, multi-national groups with e-commerce as a sales channel, etc Extensive knowledge in buying/selling of foodstuffs across the common categories (seafood, meats, fruits & vegetables etc) in [the Country listed] Multi-brand, multi-market, multi-channel management experience required Demonstrable large SKU count/catalogue management An outstanding track record of service standards Skills: Degree in marketing, business administration, supply chain, manufacturing, or similar Outgoing, resilient, intuitive & insightful, with a passion for business growth Proven record of revenue generation from new and retained customers Excellent communicator and networker who demonstrates integrity in every deal An experienced Self-starter; Country management requires independence whilst reporting to an internationally based support team Some key points about skills . A person must be from Food Industry 10-15 years of food industry experience will suffice Possess good networking with Producers, Merchant Exporters, Food Consolidators, Importers & exporters, Traders, and Consolidators Experience in Export Food Industry is a plus A field-sale professional well connected with major Food Producers/Exporters exporting their products primarily to the Middle East markets Have good knowledge of Supply chain processes Know-how of e-commerce will be a plus Education Business/Marketing Graduate will suffice Export Trade , E-Commerce Market Trends & Analysis, Shipping/ Logistics Food Producers/Exporters, Traders, Consolidators Meat & Poultry, Seafood, Canned Food, Rice & Grains, Dairy, etc. Best regards Good Communication & Presentation Skills. Strong Networking in the Food Industry. Good knowledge of F&V (Rice, Sugar, Grains, Pulses, Oil & Ghee, etc) Meat & Poultry, and Seafood Categories. Procurement & Vendor Management will be a plus.
