Job Description

Lead for Pressure Vessel_machinery & welding , you are responsible for o verseeing the performance and delivery of the Pressure Machinery and Welding team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and safely . You act as a key liaison between various departments, such as engineering and business development, to create cost-effective manufacturing solutions and maintain high standards. Your duties include identifying growth opportunities, coordinating across teams, managing compliance with regulations, and developing team members. You need strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and leadership, along with extensive experience in mechanical engineering, especially in pressure vessels and cryogenic manufacturing. Expert of Pressure Machinery and Welding needed Need a graduate or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly with pressure vessels, columns, cold boxes, and cryogenic vessels . In-depth knowledge of international standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API), statutory rules and regulations, welding processes, and industrial safety standards. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, including managing direct reports and fostering a high-performance culture. Strong ability to develop and implement business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and plan long-term goals. Proficiency in managing complex projects, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery, and handling risk management. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including engineering teams, business development, vendors, and clients. Strong analytical skills to address and resolve complex issues, make informed decisions, and implement effective solutions. Skill in negotiating technical and commercial terms with vendors and clients to achieve favorable outcomes. Deep understanding of safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure compliance in manufacturing processes. Capability to mentor and develop team members, manage manpower planning, and build a cohesive team Preferred people from Heavy Fabrication Companies/ pressure vessels, columns, cold boxes, and cryogenic vessels and someone who keeps safety standards very high Age: 45-50 Location : Kolkata
