Job Title: Head of Manufacturing Location: Ludhiana, Punjab Salary: Up to ₹1.50 Lakh per month Industry: Metal Fabrication, Welding, Powder Coating Experience Required: 10–15 years in manufacturing leadership roles Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Head of Manufacturing to oversee and enhance our operations in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metal manufacturing, welding processes, and powder coating, coupled with a strong understanding of ISO standards, HR audits, procurement, and process optimization. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing Leadership: Direct and manage all aspects of metal manufacturing, welding, and powder coating operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices. ISO Certification & Compliance: Lead initiatives to obtain and maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification, ensuring adherence to quality management system standards and continuous compliance. Quality Audits & HR Audits: Conduct regular internal and external quality audits, as well as HR audits, to assess compliance with industry standards and identify areas for improvement. Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to reduce cycle times, enhance productivity, and minimize waste. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies. Procurement Management: Oversee procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and components. Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a safety-first culture across all departments. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, procurement, and quality assurance, to achieve organizational objectives. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Professional Experience: Minimum of 10–15 years in manufacturing leadership roles, with significant experience in metal fabrication, welding processes, and powder coating. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards, welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.), powder coating processes, and quality management systems.
