About the business The Process Equipment business of Godrej & Boyce, part of Godrej Enterprises Group is a leader in manufacturing Static Process Equipment for Process Industries. Established in 1976, Godrej Process Equipment manufactures the entire range of critical Process Equipment for End-users in core industry segments like Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Hydrogen, Fertilizers, Power, Hydrogen, Chemicals around the world. We are the first company in India to be accredited with ASME U3 Stamp certification and we are one of the very few manufacturers to have supplied Pressure Vessel (hydrotested at 1500 Bar). We have two manufacturing facilities in India, one located in Vikhroli, Mumbai, Maharashtra and the other located in Dahej, Bharuch district, Gujarat. Job Description: 1) Expedite work to ensure achievement of set production targets as per primavera plan 2) Meet quality requirement of the customers and ensure reduction of cost 3) Manage critical machines and resource planning for shop floor 4) Monitor and ensure correctness of welding process as per Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and ensure strict adherence to welding parameters 5) Ensure reduction of rework 6) Monitor execution of daily plans with shop supervisors for each project and schedule cross functional meetings to review the progress of the activities 7) Optimize utilization of automatic and semiautomatic processes to reduce manpower requirement 8) Coordinate and provide feedback to manufacturing planning for planning and monitoring of projects 9) Ensure execution of maintenance plan for all machines in shop floor 10) Ensure follow-up with Quality department for stage inspections and NDT for testing 11) Follow up with purchase department for timely delivery of project material and items 12) Drive and implement management systems and initiatives such as IMS, TPM, KAIZEN and Business Excellence for department 13) Manage industrial relations to ensure harmonious work environment 14) Maintain shop floor discipline and ensure adherence to safe working practices 15) Ensure safety procedures are followed at all levels and good housekeeping levels are maintained Special Skills Required: 1) Operational knowledge of sequence of manufacturing processes 2) Familiarity with international codes like ASME, TEMA etc. 3) Familiarity with various national and international material specifications 4) Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and related procedures 5) Knowledge of ERP and Primavera software 6) Computer Proficiency
