About the Role We are looking for a Manual QA Tester Intern to assist our Quality Assurance team in testing web and mobile applications. This role involves executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring software meets quality standards before release. Responsibilities Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications. Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure a smooth testing process. Perform functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing . Verify fixes and perform retesting to confirm issue resolution. Prepare test reports and summarize findings for the team. Learn and apply testing methodologies and best practices . Assist in creating and updating test cases, checklists, and test plans . Requirements Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) & testing methodologies . Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello) is a plus. Knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging . Good communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team . Preferred Skills (Plus Points) Basic understanding of SQL for database testing . Exposure to API testing (Postman, RESTful APIs) . Awareness of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
