Role Description:

Manual and Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work within Agile/Scrum SDLC and utilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Apply OOP principles with strong proficiency in Core Java and basic knowledge of Python scripting.
• Perform black-box and white-box testing, and implement TDD/BDD practices.
• Develop automated tests using HP-ALM, Appium, Selenium, and other automation tools across UI, API, and data layers.
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable and scalable automation frameworks (POM, TestNG).
• Lead, guide, and support the QA team in daily testing activities.
• Create and execute BDD scenarios using Gherkin language.
• Conduct static code analysis, code coverage analysis, cross-browser testing, API testing, and manage test data while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries using SQL Server or equivalent databases.
• Work with web service technologies and standards including HTML, XML, SOAP, JSON, REST, and JUnit.
• Manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment and support various technology initiatives simultaneously.
