Job Description

Role & responsibilities : Role holder is responsible to oversee the overall Supply chain Process (Warehouse / Logistics & Stores / PPC) to ensure 100% customer service in optimum logistics cost. The role entails supervising and directing the stores personnel responsible for every stage of production to ensure manufacturing without interruption. Also entails Supervising and directing the Warehouse / Logistics personnel responsible to ensure 100% customer service. Job Description: Responsible for the execution of the operations strategy for the unit to ensure consistency and continual improvement of SCM process at the unit. Based on picklist picking the materials as per FIFO in defined timeline by verifying labels, Qty & Packing condition. Ensuring stock accuracy by doing frequent cycle count audits. Receiving materials from production in proper time interval after inspecting the materials based on receiving SOP. Do frequent cycle count checks while receiving the materials from production. After receiving the materials put away in defined place. Strictly following Location discipline & stacking norms. Once received in warehouse ensure 100% material scanning happened & account the stock in system. Based on picklist given by logistics pick away the materials from warehouse in FIFO basis. Once material moved to staging area ensure moved materials accounted in system. Frequently doing Physical stock audits to ensure the stock accuracy. Strictly following FIFO adherence in warehouse. Maintain proper 5S & safety work culture in warehouse & practice GMP throughout warehouse. Ensures SOPs are adhered to by all members of the unit. Lead, develop and implement variable cost productivity programs across all areas of responsibility. Ensure Production schedules are adhered and are in line with the work order Error proofing of Production process to control quality issues. Responsible for new Product/ Project implementation project management Responsible for the performance management of the team and ensure that EHS standards are adhered at the workplace.
