Manager(Solar Maintenance)

Job Objective

15 MW solar plants

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations

• Monitor daily energy generation through SCADA and site dashboards.
  
• Ensure

  plant uptime > 99%

  and

  Performance Ratio (PR) > 80%

  .
• Identify energy losses and promptly resolve inverter, string, and grid-related issues.
  

2. Maintenance Management

• Prepare and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
  
• Supervise module cleaning, thermography, and string health analysis.
  
• Manage spares and consumables inventory to avoid shortages.
  

3. Technical Oversight

• Analyze plant performance data to reduce technical losses and improve CUF.
  
• Coordinate with inverter OEMs and DISCOMs for technical troubleshooting.
  
• Ensure proper synchronization, metering, and adherence to PSPCL regulations.
  

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate records of generation, downtime, and maintenance activities.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory norms.
  
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly generation and loss-analysis reports.
  

5. Team Leadership

• Supervise and guide site engineers and technicians.
  
• Conduct routine safety, technical, and performance-enhancement training.
  
• Monitor contractor and AMC vendor performance.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
  

• 5-10 years

  of experience in Solar Plant O&M (preferably ground-mounted).
• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, inverter troubleshooting, and grid operations.
  
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  
• Must be Ludhiana-based or willing to relocate.
