E in Mechanical/Production Engineering , with 12-16 years of Experience in manufacturing sector with extensive experience of CNC programming, part execution Turn mill &/or Swiss type Machines Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for New product Development from enquiry to execution & First Article Inspection (FAI) approval process Prove out the jobs First Time Right. Achieve FAI as per Plan / Milestones Prime responsible for gear, broach manufacturing process Engineering & CNC Machining Parts development. Experience in all types of Helical, Spur Gear, Bevel gear cutting & Grinding, Turning, VMC & OD grinding machines Deep knowledge in calculation of all gear module, Pressure angle, Tooth form Standard, tooth to tooth composite error Conceptualize fixture design for Hobbing & Broach machine Sound Knowledge on bevel gear, spur gear, grinding, broach inspection method Sound knowledge in gear standards DIN867, VSM 15525, BS4582, VSM 15520, DIN58405, ISO 53.2 Profile B, BS 978 Aspects of gear inspections i.e. Composite, Profile, Helix, Pitch, Single flank Sound knowledge Gear roll tester & Master gears selection methods Production execution of gear & broach line Approve & validate various manufacturing processes & documents for new products Review drawings & specifications of a particular product & plan the production process, including correct tools, materials & Setup sequences. Continuous improvement on Cycle time & Setup time reduction, tool cost reduction etc. Handling Change Control process by coordinating with CFT team Support to production Department for the optimum utilization of Man & Machines, achieving OEE, PPM defects , On time delivery Targets Responsible for creating CNC program to manage machine parts effectively & precisely using Esprit CAM Software Program all new product lines on existing CNC machines, including new product introductions, reverse engineering, & insourcing. Implement Lean manufacturing practices for reduction in cycle time, PFMEA, DFMEA, Hands on experience of all types of machining centers with critical tolerances. Proficient in handling the most complex parts, advance Cutting tooling & technologies & Part holding concepts. Implement new techniques for cost & time saving methods strong technical database tooling concepts of Sliding head, Turn mill & milling machines Strong analytic skills, flexibility of thinking & problem-solving experience in new product development processes & ability to understand & implement as per customer requirements. Are you familiar with gear standards like DIN867, VSM 15525, BS4582, VSM 15520, DIN58405, ISO 53.2 Profile B, BS 978 ? Do you have knowledge of gear inspections i.e. Composite, Profile, Helix, Pitch, Single flank , for Helical, Spur Gear, Bevel gear grinding & broach inspection ? Do you have Sound knowledge Gear roll tester & Master gears selection methods? Can you Approve & validate various manufacturing processes & documents for new products ? Can you Review drawings & specifications of a particular product & plan the production process, including correct tools, materials & Setup sequences ? Can you support for the optimum utilization of Man & Machines, achieving OEE, PPM defects , on time delivery Targets? Can you create CNC program using Esprit CAM Software? Are you Proficient in interpreting & creating drawings & 3D models using Design SolidWorks, 2D AutoCAD ? Can you implement Lean manufacturing practices for reduction in cycle time, PFMEA, DFMEA, IPQP, problem-solving , Offline/Online NC programming & SMED , Machine Utilization & OEE Do you have design & development experience of Jigs, Tools & Fixtures ?
