Manager - Vessel Planning

As a Crane Work Planner, your role involves acting as a focal point between the execution team and planning team to ensure efficient operations at the terminal. Your key responsibilities include: -Preparing Crane Work Plans for vessels calling at the terminal to maximize resource efficiency. -Conducting Vessel Planning Activities before ships arrive at the Port to optimize resource usage. -Monitoring execution to ensure accurate and timely load and discharge operations. -Modifying plans as needed and certifying load plans for each shift daily. -Generating Reports on a fixed schedule to track performance. -Coordinating with clients to obtain bay plans and import/export status plans for effective operations. -Optimizing the usage of Terminal Operating System (TOS) for operational efficiency. -Maximizing the utilization of available Quay cranes for productivity. -Stowing cargoes effectively to facilitate high gross crane rates. -Ensuring vessels sail at the earliest possible time by coordinating with relevant personnel. -Monitoring import and export stacks and escalating unsatisfactory stacking issues to the appropriate authorities. -Preparing discharge and load sequences and Order of Work schedules in collaboration with the Supervisor.
