Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Computations

o   Manage all direct tax compliances, ensuring timely and accurate payments, filings, and regulatory submissions.

o   Review monthly/quarterly financials and prepare tax computations of the company.

o   Prepare and review advance tax computations.

o   Review quarterly TDS returns and reconciliation with Form 26AS.

o   Prepare income tax returns of the company, group companies, and trusts.

Audit, Assessments & Appeals

o   Coordinate with auditors, provide data, resolve queries, and manage tax audits.

o   Draft responses to income tax notices, handle scrutiny assessments, and file submissions.

o   Manage appeals before CIT(A) [‘NFAC’] and ITAT, including drafting submissions and briefing Counsels.

Advisory & Strategic Support

o   Review contracts for tax clauses, analyses tax implications, and finalize clauses.

o   Provide advisory support to the Finance & Accounts team on direct tax matters.

o   Analyses withholding tax implications on foreign payments and manage filings of Form 15CA/15CB.

o   Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and train internal teams on latest tax amendments, circulars, and notifications.

o   Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).

Soft Skills:

o   Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

o   Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

o   Proactive, hardworking, and capable of working independently and in teams.
