About the Role:

Steel Analyst

• Monitor, analyze, and forecast pricing trends for raw materials and finished goods.
• Provide data-backed insights to top management on procurement and pricing strategies.
• Drive long- and short-term contracting decisions through scientific models and predictive analytics.
• Lead daily dashboards, cost-benefit analyses, inventory optimization, and strategic reporting.

What You Bring:

Technical Competencies:

• 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the steel industry.
• Strong expertise in raw materials (Iron Ore, Ferro Alloys, Fluxes, etc.) and finished goods (Billets, TMT, etc.).
• Proficiency in analytical tools, forecasting models, ERP systems, and MS Office.
• Hands-on exposure to domestic, import, and export markets.

Behavioral Competencies:

• Integrity, accountability, result orientation, and relationship-building.
• Strong communication skills with multi-lingual ability.

Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate (preferably in Statistics or related field).
• Proven experience in data analytics, cost forecasting, and market intelligence.

• Forecast pricing and optimize purchase quantity
• Deliver insightful reports and recommendations
• Maintain real-time dashboards and data analytics
