Job Description – Procurement Specialist (Digital & Software Services) Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing and procurement for Product Development Software, Professional Services, and AFS Digital Applications. The role requires expertise in vendor evaluation, contract management, and the use of modern procurement technologies to ensure cost optimization, efficiency, and process excellence. Key Responsibilities Study and analyze procurement requirements for Product Development Software, Professional Services, and AFS Digital Applications. Explore and evaluate alternate vendors/solutions to foster competitive sourcing and ensure favorable commercial outcomes. Analyze recurring spend patterns to identify opportunities for long-term rate contracts and strategic agreements. Utilize latest procurement technology tools such as eBidding, reverse auctions, and catalog procurement for efficiency and transparency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement activities, with a focus on automation and digitalization. Ensure timely and appropriate responses to both internal customers and external vendors. Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs and goals. Maintain vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement standards. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA/PG in Supply Chain preferred). 4–8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management with exposure to IT/software procurement. Strong knowledge of eProcurement tools (eBidding, Reverse Auction, Catalog Procurement, etc.). Analytical skills to evaluate spend, contracts, and vendor performance. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Process-oriented mindset with ability to drive automation and efficiency. Strong stakeholder management and vendor relationship skills.
