Role & responsibilities Manager Special Projects Job Description Candidate will play a crucial role in executing special projects that drive the strategic objectives of the business unit. This role is highly execution-oriented, focusing on the successful completion of key initiatives and ensuring alignment with the President's vision. Roles & Responsibilities This role demands exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Special Projects Execution: Lead and manage special projects assigned by the President, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and achieve desired outcomes. Strategic Partnership: Work closely with the President to understand and implement the company's strategic initiatives. Conduct research, analyse data, and provide insights to support informed decision-making. Monitoring Business Performance: Track and evaluate the performance of the business unit, including key performance indicators and financial metrics. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to keep the President informed about progress and challenges. Project Oversight: Oversee critical projects on behalf of the President, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively. Facilitate alignment and streamlined implementation across different teams. Executive Facilitation: Assist the President in managing their daily agenda, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence. Anticipate needs and proactively address challenges to optimize the President's time and effectiveness. Special Endeavours: Lead and actively participate in distinct projects that significantly impact the organization's trajectory, as assigned by the President. Requirements Possession of MBA Demonstrated track record in strategic management, project management, or strategic consultancy roles. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse global teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Proven capability in handling confidential and sensitive information. A positive, proactive outlook, with a strong commitment to advancing the company's goals. Required Technical Skills Project Management Tools: Proficiency in using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar tools to plan, execute, and monitor projects. Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with experience in using data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to interpret data and generate insights. Communication Platforms: Familiarity with communication and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Zoom to facilitate effective team interactions. CRM Systems: Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce or HubSpot to manage and analyse customer interactions and data. Presentation Software: Proficiency in creating compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint or similar software to communicate project updates and strategic insights.
