Client is a Large IT MNC


Role Overview:

The Manager / Senior Manager – Procurement will lead the sourcing and procurement function for IT and professional services, including staffing, managed services, software, and related technology requirements. The role focuses on driving cost efficiency, vendor performance, and contractual compliance while ensuring timely delivery of critical services to support business operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement for

    IT services, staffing services, managed services, and professional consulting engagements

    .
  • Drive vendor identification, evaluation, onboarding, and relationship management to ensure quality, compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, rate finalizations, and contract/SLA execution with service providers and consulting partners.
  • Partner with internal teams (HR, IT, Delivery, Legal, Finance) to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for contingent workforce and technology partners to ensure agility and scalability.
  • Oversee procurement of

    software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, renewals, and associated service contracts

    .
  • Track and ensure compliance with master service agreements, NDAs, SLAs, and vendor performance metrics.
  • Optimize vendor base through consolidation, performance reviews, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, procurement dashboards, and MIS for management reporting and audits.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement governance, risk management, and statutory compliance frameworks.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management; MBA preferred.
  • 8–15 years of procurement experience in

    IT services, staffing services, managed services, or technology procurement

    .
  • Proven expertise in

    negotiating service contracts, rate cards, and long-term agreements

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    vendor ecosystems for IT outsourcing, AMC/support contracts, and software licensing

    .
  • Experience in working with

    large system integrators, IT service providers, and consulting vendors

    .
  • Proficiency in procurement tools (SAP/Oracle/Ariba or similar).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
