Manager/ Senior Manager - Management Consulting

A.

Responsible for overall monitoring of RDSS projects assigned to Mercados, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and prompt release of payments through effective coordination with internal teams and stakeholders. Possesses strong expertise in power distribution projects encompassing project management, third-party inspection, and quality assurance. Actively identifies similar business opportunities and oversees the timely preparation and submission of competitive proposals to support organizational growth.

• Manage Third Party Quality Monitoring and end-to-end Project Management of power distribution works.
• Monitor assignments under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) awarded to Mercados.
• Manage client relationships and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes to stakeholders, including MoP, PFC, REC, and DISCOMs.
• Compile and deliver periodic progress reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to track project milestones.
• Conduct regular visits to utility/client/executing agency offices to follow up on progress and collect required documentation.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively, balancing project delivery and support activities.
• Proactively follow up with clients to ensure prompt invoice clearance and payment processing.
• Ensure smooth project execution and closure by facilitating seamless coordination among implementing agencies, turnkey contractors, and DISCOMs, maintaining timelines and quality standards.
• Arrange visual checks of field installations, including line and pole alignment, conductor sag, and transformer ratings, as per project requirements.
• Ensure inspections comply with Field Quality Plans (FQP), construction drawings, technical specifications, datasheets, and survey reports as per DISCOMcontractor agreements.
• Identify and pursue similar opportunities, contributing to proposal submissions.
• Assist the Pre-Sales/Business Development team in preparing bid documents and reviewing tender documents for power distribution projects.
• Participate in client meetings to reinforce trust, address needs, and maintain strong account relationships.
• Build and sustain strong, long-term client relationships, fostering trust and repeat business.

C.

• Experience in handling multiple power distribution consultancy assignments like project management and third party quality assurance.
• Experience in government scheme projects like RAPDRP, DDUGJY, IPDS, UDAY, RDSS etc.
• Handling clients and ensuring the timely deliverables and payments.
• Excellent communication skill and proficiency in MS Word/PPT/Excel.

D.

• Over 10 years of experience in power distribution sector.
• B.E./ B. Tech in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering. MBA (preferred)

E.

• Gurugram & required to travel anywhere in India.
