Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage daily billing operations by guiding team members and conducting regular performance reviews to ensure targets are consistently met.
Monitor high-value and open jobs, ensuring timely billing through proactive follow-ups and escalating delays when required.
Collaborate with branch teams for prompt file submissions, streamline communication, and standardize billing procedures across locations.
Serve as the key liaison between the billing team and senior management by presenting performance reports and contributing to strategic planning.
Identify process improvement opportunities, ensure compliance with company policies, and maintain billing accuracy through rigorous quality checks.
Organize and conduct training programs, mentor junior staff, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.
Oversee GST-related activities and ensure the accurate and timely completion of GST audits.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com)
or an equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience
in billing, accounts, or GST-related roles.
At least 2-3 years of experience
in team handling or supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of
Accounts, Billing Processes, and GST compliance
.
Proficiency in
MS Office (Excel, Word)
and accounting/billing software.
Good communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Preferably from similar industry.
