Job Description A Seed Processing Asst Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and grading of seeds along with material intake ,packing and dispatch. Key Responsibilities: Seed intake : Responsible for seed intake and coordination with production team Seed Inspection and Grading: Conduct inspections of seeds to ensure they meet quality standards regarding size, weight, moisture content, purity, and germination rates. Comply and coordinate for regulatory compliances like certification etc and company policies. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures during the seed processing and packaging stages. Compliance with Standards: Ensure that all seed grading activities comply with seed certification standards. Maintain documentation of inspections, grading results, and any corrective actions taken. Coordination and Reporting: Work closely with production, and distribution teams to ensure timely grading and movement of seeds. Prepare and submit reports on seed grading outcomes, stock levels, and quality assessments. Inventory Management: Monitor seed stock levels and manage the storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration. Ensure proper labeling and handling of seed lots to maintain traceability. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of seed grades ,PM, tests, and inventory for future reference and audits. Required Skills and Qualifications: Educational Background : Degree in Agriculture, Seeds Technology, Agronomy, or a related field. Experience : Previous experience in seed production, processing, or grading is preferred. Technical Knowledge : Understanding of seed biology, grading equipment, and seed certification standards. Attention to Detail : Ability to closely monitor and ensure the quality of seeds. Communication Skills : Good reporting and documentation skills for communicating findings and coordinating with teams. Problem-solving : Ability to identify and address quality issues promptly. Must Haves: 1 - Knowledge of seed processing process 2 - Must have experience exclusively in the seed industry.
