Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving patient footfall, building corporate & doctor referral networks, increasing revenue across OPD/IPD services, and developing strategic business partnerships. The role involves planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing programs and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify and onboard new referral doctors, clinics, and medical practitioners.
  • Drive OPD and IPD revenue growth through structured outreach programs.
  • Strengthen corporate tie-ups, TPAs, government empanelments, and insurance company relationships.
  • Coordinate with medical departments to promote key specialties and high-margin services.

2. Marketing & Branding

  • Develop and execute hospital branding strategy, digital marketing, and local campaigns.
  • Plan community engagement activities (health camps, CSR medical outreach, awareness programs).
  • Manage social media, website updates, patient testimonials, and PR activities.

3. Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with consultants, visiting doctors, corporate HRs, and referral partners.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience & manage patient feedback and satisfaction programs.
  • Conduct doctor meetings, CMEs, workshops, and promotional events.

4. Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze competitor hospitals and service pricing.
  • Identify new business opportunities and plan promotional strategies.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts and performance reports for management.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, networking & negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of hospital workflow (OPD/IPD/Diagnostics/Insurance/TPA).
  • Ability to plan campaigns and manage marketing budgets.
  • Result-driven approach and ability to work with clinical teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing basics.

Education

  • MBA in Sales/Marketing / Hospital Administration

    preferred
  • Graduation in science / pharmacy / healthcare field is an added advantage.
