Role & responsibilities Revenue Assurance & control: Define & document revenue recognition policies/processes; Analyse and reconcile revenue discrepancies, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately. Record and monitor all revenue streams and ensure zero pilferage. Design and Document the Revenue streams and ensure accurate recording and timely collection from partners. Automate the process in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders. Forecast, Analyse and publish dashboards on periodical cash flows. Facilitate timely interventions on estimated cash flow gaps. Credit control Develop & Implement the credit control Policy, Process and Control system in collaboration with Business. Responsible for overseeing and managing the companys credit risk, ensuring timely collections. Automating the receivables monitoring and control framework. Develop and implement system based model for Credit evaluation, onboarding, Grading and setting credit limits for customers. Administer the credit control function, ensuring receivables ageing is as per agreed credit terms with every partner/customer. Implement effective debt collection processes and support collections on overdue invoices. Effective negotiations with partners to improve the working capital cycle: reduced collection cycle and extended payment cycle. MIS and Analytics: Generate regular/ad-hoc MIS and analytical reports on Revenue recognition, accounts receivable, collections and credit risk to management, highlighting areas of concern and improvement opportunities. Preferred candidate profile Skill set Knowledge on credit control practices, revenue recognition principles, and financial regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to risk management and process improvement. Engage with customers to establish payment plans, negotiate payment terms, and resolve billing inquiries or disputes. Develop and implement strategies to minimise late or non-payment by customers, including initiating collection actions and negotiating payment plans. DOAM Enforcing the policies and department controls. Adherence authorization as per DOAM. Identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize cost and other company resources. Support MIS function Support in compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to Management. Auditing and Statutory Compliance Provide all the necessary clarification to the internal and external auditors of Group business units. Ensuring the Income Tax & GST compliances and FEMA regulations. Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures Monitor and ensure adherence to company policies, directives and guidelines in the planning and execution of all activities (e.g., accounting, internal control, DOAM, HR policies etc). Support Internal Controls function in relevant risk management aspects regarding business units. Accounting System and Process Process owner for designing the Revenue recognition & Accounts Receivable process. Automation and process enhancements including SOPs regular efforts to migrate manual processes to systems and enhancement of system processes for better service delivery. Support AOP (Annual Budgets) Support the MIS and Financial planning team in preparation of annual budget of Group business units by providing necessary inputs and suggestions. Team Management Supervise and lead the credit control and revenue teams, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and offer development opportunities for team members. Training to Accounts Team Members Identify the training requirements of the Team and arrange for suitable training (both on the job and external).
