Role & responsibilities 1 To be an effective team player and be an inspiration / motivation to other team members 2 making minimum 5 calls per day - appointment calls / lead calls / courtesy calls/ cold calls/ detailing etc. 3 reverting on leads same day by sending offer letter within 24 hours and meeting the leads within 48 - 72 hours. 4 Devising new ways to expand the client base viz. Networking, cold calling, area blitz, follow up of lead calls 5 Reaching out to existing and new clientele for res-con. 6 sucessfully dealing in negotiation 7 meeting sales targets for the allotted area 8 taking feedback, Addressing and resolving any issues or complaints regarding service 9 Ensuring that guests are satisfied with their stay at the hotel and that large group needs are being met. 10 Maintaining positive relationships with clients and to encourage repeat and recurring business. 11 effective communication within and outside the organization 12 maintaining brand image 13 keeping abreast about competition 14 mapping potential customers and generate leads 15 devise strategies and techniques for achieving sales targets. 16 Development of the new cities in order to increase the market presence 17 Representation of hotel in trade fair and exhibitions. 18 to be an effective team player and be an inspiration / motivation to other team members 19 making promotional strategies for the hotel. 20 Up selling, category wise selling and active revenue management. 21 To reassess the refusals, regrets if any and the reasoning behind the same. If feasible the remedial actions in order to garner the same business. 22 Achieving Room nights, Revenue and ARR target with outstanding to be minimum with due approvals only. 23 inviting clients for property visit 24 educating the client on detailing for booking / conference in details 25 detailed contracting within time to be signed from the client and sent to the hotel before 72 hours of client check in. 26 ensuring right sales procedures 27 ensuring right credit policies and payment follow ups 28 maintaining rates offered in market as per demand / occupancy / forecast and to pre plan the same as per season REPORTS 1 maintaining leads / queries / refusal report 2 Maintaining weekly SM Reports, Daily Sales Reports, weekly Calls Management Report 3 giving monthly sales action plan. 4 maintaining and updating master database 5 maintaining feedback on weekly basis.
