Manager- Quality Management

As a Quality Assurance Manager for electric motors, you will be responsible for ensuring that the products meet specified quality standards and requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing quality assurance plans and procedures for electric motors. - Overseeing quality control processes throughout the manufacturing or assembly process. - Collaborating with suppliers to establish quality requirements for raw materials and parts. - Establishing testing protocols and procedures to validate the performance and safety of electric motors. - Investigating quality issues and defects to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. - Maintaining accurate records of quality control activities and test results. - Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of electric motors. - Conducting type testing on electric motors according to relevant industry standards and customer specifications. - Performing electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests to verify design characteristics. - Developing routine testing procedures to ensure ongoing performance and reliability. - Collaborating with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to address quality issues. Qualifications required for this role include: - BE in Mechanical Engineering. - 12 years of professional experience. - Sound knowledge of Routine and Type testing of Electric Motors. - Familiarity with IEC 60034 series standards and ASME Section IIA, III, V, VIII, IX standards. - NDE Level II qualification in VT, PT, MT, UT, RT. - Knowledge of Electric Motor Mechanical and Electrical Inspections & processes. - Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. This role will require you to interpret and evaluate PT, MT, RT, LT, VT, and UT test results, as well as maintain test equipment and instrumentation for accuracy and reliability.,
