Manager - Quality Assurance

As an accomplished QA lead with extensive experience in managing testing activities for complex software development projects, your main purpose will be to drive QA deliverables in partnership with vendor teams, make quick decisions, and provide practical solutions for challenging problems. You should demonstrate a strong ability to think through requirements from a business user point of view and work effectively in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines. Collaboration with various stakeholders across IT and business user groups for complex end-to-end trading platforms will be a key aspect of your role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Mentor extended teams functionally and provide SME level insights on test coverage. - Lead efforts to enhance testing processes and drive efficiency. - Create and review test cases and test plans effectively. - Utilize proven analytical and written/oral communication skills. - Build and enrich functional and domain knowledge. - Collaborate with QA leads to establish and achieve software quality goals. - Manage end-to-end testing activities for strategic target releases, including integration testing. - Thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment. - Maintain strong working relationships with business analysis, development, and business user groups. - Define test strategy and drive testing deliverables with vendor partners. - Monitor progress on testing deliverables and manage status reporting. **Qualifications:** - 8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance groups. - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent/relevant education. **Additional Details:** The TGS Trading IT department is responsible for the front-to-back delivery of various applications that enable Trafiguras Oil & Metals trading. As a QA lead, you should possess strong technical skills and expertise with 8-10+ years of experience in managing end-to-end quality assurance for large-scale enterprise projects. Your sound understanding of Database, SQL, and UNIX systems, along with strong Techno-Functional expertise to drive testing efficiency and optimization, will be crucial. Additionally, having good exposure to API testing would be preferred. Your key competencies should include strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with vendor teams and global IT owners, and attention to micro-level details. You must also be comfortable working with and dealing with senior management and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.,
