Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals to ensure continuity of supply and cost optimization. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, reliability, and pricing. Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable conditions for the company. Collaborate closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to forecast material needs and avoid disruptions. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance. Analyze market trends and industry developments to support informed purchasing decisions. Maintain comprehensive records of purchases, contracts, price lists, and inventory levels. Utilize ERP systems or procurement software to streamline the purchasing workflow. Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement and adopt best practices in the purchasing process. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory standards. Resolve disputes with vendors and work towards maintaining long-term supplier partnerships. Track and report key metrics such as cost savings, lead times, and supplier service levels. Support audits and internal reviews with accurate documentation and system reports. Train and mentor team members to build procurement capability within the organization. Contribute to organizational cost efficiency and resource optimization through strategic sourcing. Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.
