Role & responsibilities Chemical Process Plant Design, FEED/FEL Studies, Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering, Procurement Of Equipments & Instruments Calculation of Material Balance and Energy Balance Preparation and Review of Process flow diagram (PFD) Preparation and Review of Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) Equipment layouts and elevation, Equipment Sizing Preparation of technical data sheets / schedules and verifying specifications of offered equipments Good exposure on Distillation Column ,FFE, Heat Exchanger ,Column Packing & Internals ,Batch Reactor Development of Design Basis Calculation of Utility requirement, Line Sizing, Pump Sizing and selection Preparation and Review of Process Data sheet of Distillation column, Packing Internals, Heat Exchanger, Pump storage tank Prepare feasibility study & cost benefit analysis Approval of Technical Specifications and Fabrication Drawing Development of suitable logic, alarms and Interlocks etc. Demonstration o f batches on pilot scale Stage wise Inspection of Process Equipment To design and cost Estimation for scale up of New products . To attend Daily Meeting with VP Technical Services Conceptualize & define the project. Act as the process lead on studies and projects Process calculations, Mass Balance, Chemical/Energy Consumption, Utility Summary, Pump Hydraulic calculations, line sizing calculation etc. Equipment Sizing Preparation of technical data sheets / schedules and verifying specifications of offered equipment’s Guide the team HAZOP STUDY Managing all aspects of projects ex: Planning, Co-Ordination with fabricators/vendors /contractors and Ensuring successful completion within the estimated cost and time frame.
