Job Purpose: Develop a production plan & coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth execution and timely dispatch while maintaining complete documentation and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement an efficient production plan that minimizes wastage and changeovers while ensuring adherence to customer delivery deadlines. Ensure the availability of required resources (Raw Materials/Packaging Materials) for uninterrupted production. Monitor and optimize production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines. Oversee the dispatch and logistics process , ensuring timely container dispatch and compliance with all regulations. Identify delays in production and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency. Prepare and maintain MIS reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) on production, dispatch, inventory levels, and ageing. Ensure proper handling, labelling, and storage of Finished Goods to maintain inventory accuracy. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce Container Turnaround Time and enhance OTIF (On-Time In-Full) deliveries . Ensure seamless coordination across departments for production and inventory management. Maintain system data accuracy and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards. Raising purchase requisitions for required materials based on production schedules and inventory levels. Following up with the procurement/suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays. Ensure material availability at third party vendor against the sales plan. Assisting in the implementation and usage of planning tools and software for production scheduling. Well versed in SAP. Experience: 5 - 7 years of experience in Production Planning & Control in relevant industries. Specialization/ Industry: Pipes and fittings, Textile.
