Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager for Payroll Compliances to join our HR team. This individual will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery, and overseeing compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in payroll management, statutory compliance, and employee benefits. Key Responsibilities : Payroll Management : Oversee the full payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements to all employees. Coordinate with the finance team to ensure payroll is processed in line with company budgets and policies. Maintain accurate records of salaries, bonuses, and other compensation-related data. Handle statutory deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related queries from employees. Compliance Management : Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal labor laws and statutory regulations. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, social security regulations, and other compliance-related matters. Prepare and file all necessary reports, such as tax filings, PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employees State Insurance), and other regulatory submissions. Manage audits related to payroll and compliance, liaising with external auditors and government authorities as required. Employee Benefits : Administer employee benefit programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, bonuses, and leave policies. Ensure compliance with internal policies regarding employee benefits. Address employee queries regarding compensation, benefits, and deductions in a professional and timely manner. HR Systems Management : Maintain and update HR systems (such as payroll software) to ensure smooth operations and data accuracy. Collaborate with the IT team for troubleshooting system-related issues. Prepare and analyze reports on payroll, compliance, and benefits for senior management. Employee Relations : Address and resolve any issues related to payroll discrepancies or benefits in a timely manner. Work closely with the HR team to ensure proper documentation and implementation of company policies related to payroll and compliance. Training Development : Provide training and guidance to junior HR staff on payroll and compliance-related matters. Continuously assess internal processes for efficiency and compliance improvements. Required Qualifications Experience : Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Masters preferred). 5+ years of experience in payroll management and statutory compliance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of local and international labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards. Experience with payroll software and HRMS systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
