Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategy for India South to establish the sale nos, achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities @ new products in motion vertical
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
  • Build OEM, ODM & Distributor relationships.

Key Account Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers (OEMs, distributors, institutional buyers).
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular engagement and service support.

    Role & responsibilities

  • Coordination with Other Functions

  • Work closely with Production, Planning, and Supply Chain to align sales with delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with Product Mgmt/Marketing for branding, promotions, exhibitions, and lead generation.
  • Coordinate with Finance for pricing, credit control, and payment collections.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Manage sales forecasting, order booking, and pipeline management for India South.
  • Monitor sales KPIs including revenue growth, margins, and market share.
  • Prepare MIS reports for senior management on sales performance and market outlook.

Ensure adherence to company policies, commercial terms, and ethical business practices.

  • Comply with legal and statutory requirements in sales contracts and transactions.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of B2B industrial/engineering product sales.
  • Proven ability in business development and key account management.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track market intelligence and trends.
  • Ability to drive sales team performance and deliver results under pressure.

Educational & Experience Requirements

  • MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing (preferred).
  • B.E. / B.Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline (desirable).
  • 8-12 years of experience in industrial / manufacturing sales.
  • Sales Experience in HVAC&R industry will be an advantage.
