Job Description

Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local statutory requirements. Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analyses. Cash & Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow and ensure efficient cash management processes. Manage bank relationships and oversee bank reconciliations. Support treasury functions, including liquidity planning and forecasting. Fixed Asset Accounting: Supervise fixed asset management, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliations. Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards related to fixed assets. Accounts Payable & Expense Management: Oversee AP processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. Implement process improvements for AP efficiency and accuracy. Monitor vendor reconciliations and resolve disputes as needed. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and professional development. Coordinate with global finance teams to ensure alignment of financial policies and procedures. Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the team. Audit & Internal Controls: Support internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. Strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency. Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive measures. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification. Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar ERP systems). Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP, local tax regulations, and financial reporting. Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing accounting team. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
