Job Description

This role is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring the successful development and launch of new products while maintaining brand consistency and integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development, branding, and marketing strategies. They will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, conducting market research, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch.. Principle Accountabilities New Product Development: Lead the ideation, conceptualization, and development of new products in alignment with the companys strategic objectives. Market Research : Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and branding strategies. Branding Strategy : Develop and implement branding strategies that resonate with target audiences, reinforce brand identity, and differentiate products in the market. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including RD, marketing, sales, and design to ensure seamless execution of new product initiatives. Project Management: Manage the end-to-end product development process, including timeline management, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk assessment. Product Positioning: Define product positioning, messaging, and value proposition to effectively communicate product benefits and drive customer engagement. Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the product development process, including product testing, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the success of new product launches and make data-driven recommendations for optimization. Team Leadership : Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the product development and branding team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Skills and Knowledge Graduate in any discipline and Masters degree preferred in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant Experience: 8-15 years experience in product development, branding, or marketing roles, preferably within the Automotive Industry and Manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for design aesthetics. Experience working with consumer products and familiarity with regulatory requirements is a plus.
