Role Overview

plotting/land development project

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning & Execution

• Prepare execution plans for all MEP activities including

  water supply system, sewage/drainage system, power distribution, street lighting, and utility ducts

  .
• Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and civil teams for smooth integration of all MEP works.
• Review IFC drawings and ensure accurate implementation at site.

2. Electrical Systems

• Supervise installation of

  transformers, RMUs, HT/LT cabling, feeder pillars, street lighting poles, and distribution panels

  .
• Ensure compliance with Telangana electricity board (TSSPDCL) rules for layout approvals and power infrastructure.
• Coordinate for load estimation, approvals, and commissioning.

3. Water Supply & Plumbing Systems

• Oversee execution of

  UG sump, OHT, water pipelines, valves, pump rooms, meters

  , and network testing.
• Manage plumbing and drainage works including

  sewer pipelines, manholes, stormwater drains

  , and connections.

4. Vendor & Contractor Management

• Evaluate MEP contractors, negotiate work orders, monitor deliverables, and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Verify material quality, approve samples, and maintain BOQ compliance.

5. Quality & Safety

• Conduct regular inspections ensuring adherence to

  IS codes, NBC, local municipal

  and safety protocols.
• Ensure proper testing & commissioning of all MEP systems before handover.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily/weekly progress reports, checklists, material records, and quality inspection reports.
• Prepare work schedules and track progress against project timelines.
• Handle statutory approvals, utility applications, liaisoning with departments like TSSPDCL, HMWS&SB, and local authorities.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  MEP infrastructure systems

  used in plotting/layout development.
• Proficient in reading drawings (AutoCAD), preparing BOQ, and handling vendors.
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.
• Understanding of

  Telangana real estate norms, utility approvals

  , and government procedures.
• Leadership ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
