This role is for a unique, inspiring professional with experience, and ability, in customer relationships, sales, people management, and a passion for great storytelling. Candidates must have recent success stories to demonstrate. Essentials: 8- 12 years’ experience in the travel and leisure business, with at least 3 years in a team management role. Candidates from other industries are welcome as long as they have personal experience of traveling to multiple countries and are passionate about travel and customer experience. Here's what you'd be doing (but not limited to) · Leading a team of Holiday Consultants, converting customer enquiries into bookings to generate revenue for the organization. · Design, develop and plan products/ itineraries in line with the needs of modern-day travelers. · Handle end-to-end travel arrangements (airlines, hotels, experiences, visas, etc.). · Maximize profitability through negotiation with suppliers. · Deliver outstanding levels of customer service to exceed customer expectations. · Provide regular reporting to management. · Lead, motivate and train team members. · Constantly update/modify holiday experiences based on customer feedback. Skills · Strong destination knowledge of Europe, Africa, CIS countries, Asia and India. · Exceptional written/verbal communication skills in English is required · Energetic, confident, innovative. · Strong customer orientation · Should be well traveled or experienced in international travel management. · Should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be able to work independently. · Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure. Qualifications and Experience · Post-graduate preferred. However, if you are a smart, confident graduate and passionate about travel then you are welcome to apply. · A minimum of 8 years’ experience in frontline sales/customer service in the travel industry will be preferred. If you have traveled the globe and understand the nuances of international travel but haven’t worked in the travel industry, we would like to hear from you too. · Excellent command of MS office suite and social media.
