Detailed Job description : Litigation: Analyzing and identifying the legal risks its implications on all Business transactions and to suggest mitigation measures to avoid litigation/ disputes. Coordinate with Lawyers/ Counsel, update the case facts and proceedings to the management in a timely basis. Attend the court hearing for the cases and continuously keep track of all the proceedings in each of the case hearings. Draft the replies and complete documentation of ongoing case matters. Coordinate with concerned Departments to verify information submitted and its factual position. Non-Litigation: Provide pro-active, practical, qualitative and cost-effective legal support and guidance to different business functions on all kinds of legal matters, including but not restricted to labor laws, property/real estate laws, information technology and data privacy laws, intellectual property laws, trademark laws etc. Draft and/or review and negotiate on legal contracts/agreements/documents, including vendor contracts, retainer contracts, non-disclosure agreements etc. Draft and/or vet and negotiate on MOUs, bank guarantees, indemnity bonds, undertakings, authority letters and other such legal documents, while ensuring that they are complaint with all applicable laws. Provide regular and timely legal advisory, statutory updates and legal dashboards to senior management/business heads. Monitor and assist with ensuring compliance of various statutes applicable to the organization. Ensuring that all allegations of legal misconduct are reported in a timely manner in an attempt to maintain integrity within the business. Skill Required: Experience of working with Stock Exchanges, Broking firms would be preferred. Experience in providing legal and documentation support for all strategic business decisions. Expertise in dealing with a wide variety of legal matters.
