Description
As a Manager, Learning Analytics at Kaplan, you will play a crucial role in leading data-driven AI-powered learning projects and initiatives. Your deep expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and AI will be instrumental in driving measurable impact on learner outcomes and product effectiveness. You will lead a team of research scientists and data analysts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop AI-enabled learning insights to enhance the learning experience for students globally. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate closely with the Director of Psychometrics and Learning Analytics on assessment and learning analytic projects. - Develop and execute learning analytical initiatives aligned with organizational goals to enhance learners" experience and outcomes in online learning environments. - Lead a team of research scientists and data analysts, providing project management and team leadership. - Perform a wide range of learning analytics activities such as descriptive analytics, predictive analytics, data mining, machine learning, and more. - Apply ML and AI models to identify learning gain, model learners" behaviors, recommend personalized learning paths, and enhance learning product effectiveness. - Extract, preprocess, manipulate, analyze & interpret complex data from various sources ensuring data accuracy and ethical use. - Collaborate with various stakeholders to solve product and business problems, prepare technical reports, and present findings to key partners. - Mentor team members, provide guidance on project directions, and technical challenges. **Qualifications Required:** - Masters Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Educational Technology, Computer Science, Psychometrics, or related field with a strong quantitative focus. - 5 years of experience in learning analytics or education technology roles, including team management. - Proficiency in R/ Python or another programming language, data manipulation, statistics, and ML models. - Strong knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools, and excellent communication skills.
