Job Description: Position Summary: The Manager IT Operations will lead our dynamic team of IT Help Desk Support Specialists and System Administrators. This role is pivotal in managing and supporting IT Operations by supervising team activities, contributing to technical discussions, and performing operational tasks as needed. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader, ready to mentor and develop their team while also diving into the technical work to ensure the smooth running of our IT infrastructure and security. This role requires a blend of technical prowess, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to IT management. The Manager IT Operations will: Responsibilities: Lead and manage the assigned IT team Perform hiring, employee development, and mentoring to build a high-performing team. Engage in strategic IT planning and execution, contributing to global IT initiatives where applicable. Oversee IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Security within his area of responsibility – ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Drive technical innovations to modernize the work environment and achieve organizational targets. Develop and maintain technical documentation, policies, and procedures. Manage IT equipment lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning. Provide hands-on IT Support and guidance for resolving complex issues. Stay updated with the latest trends in hardware, software, and technology; recommend improvements and efficiencies. Collaborate closely with the colleagues, superiors and other stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals. Requirements: A highly experienced and motivated professional with demonstrated excellence in customer service, exceptional communication skills, a proactive attitude, and strong planning abilities. Teamwork skills, flexibility and patience An open mind towards services and innovation in dynamic environments A high degree of security awareness and user friendliness Multi-year experience in providing IT Support services Progressive knowledge of IT Systems. Advanced knowledge of Windows (and ideally MacOS administration) Experience in working within Office365/Azure environment and/or the respective products Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, including experience with designing, implementing, and managing solutions in private, and hybrid cloud environments. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud preferred. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including experience with LAN, WAN setups, network protocols, and modern network architectures such as SDN. Understanding of network security practices is highly desirable. Proven five or more years of relevant IT management and team leadership experience Excellent multitasking and organizational skills Business fluent in English Preferred Requirements: Virtualization certificates. Windows Server certificates. Network infrastructure certificates. ITIL certificates. Other IT related certificates.
