Job Description

Manager, Internal Communication India Location: Gurugram,India | Contract 8 Months Overview: The Manager, Internal Communication – India, will primarily focus on building upon global and Emerging Markets (EM) communication plans to develop and execute cluster-specific strategies. The objective is to enhance employee communication, ensuring Team India is informed, motivated, and inspired. Key Responsibilities & Stakeholders – Q2 & Q3: The India cluster consists of two organizations under the individual’s responsibility: Market (adidas India business) India Tech Hub Stakeholders: Market: GM adidas India, Senior Director HR, India SLT Tech Hub: SVP Sales Tech, Tech Project Manager, Strategy Office Emerging Markets Internal Comms Team Senior leadership teams across key functions, in collaboration with GM & India Tech Hub lead, to identify relevant topics and stories shaping the India narrative for communication via appropriate channels. Key Focus Areas: India: Align internal communication with EM and India business strategy Manage communication for change management & business milestones Support brand-related internal communication Summarize and share insights from key global visits Organize and drive Townhalls for India in Q1, Q2, and Q3 Tech Hub: Drive communication for global and local events Manage communication for key visits (if any) Organize and drive Townhalls for Tech Hub in Q2, Q3, and Q4 Facilitate communication for organizational topics & change management Common Initiatives: Support global initiatives such as the Global Week of Inclusion, Move for the Planet , and other global moments Collaborate with HR teams to fine-tune communication for HR-specific topics Work closely with DEI teams to drive internal communications for DEI-focused initiatives Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Language: Highly fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage Editorial Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities Business Acumen: Ability to translate complex business strategies into clear and engaging employee communications Event & Campaign Planning: Strong project management skills for planning and executing large-scale events, working with stakeholders and event agencies Creativity: Innovative approach to engaging employees and capturing their attention Technical Skills: Basic videography and photography skills are an added advantage Requisite Education and Experience: University degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Journalism. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate/internal communication, media relations, event organization, and issue management Additional experience in a media agency is beneficial Key Relationships: EM Internal Comms Team adidas India Leadership Team India Tech Hub Leadership Team Human Resources Brand Team Business Development Team This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping internal communications and employee engagement within adidas India.
