Summary:

This role will oversee payroll operations, attendance data validation, statutory compliance, and audit readiness for both AIL and factory setups. The incumbent will ensure accuracy, governance, and alignment of HR operations across units.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for

    on-roll and contract employees

    across AIL and factory units, ensuring accurate

    salary computations, deductions, and full & final settlements

    .
  • Manage

    attendance and leave data

    within the AMS system prior to payroll finalization to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Validate

    wages and overtime (OT) calculations

    in accordance with statutory and organizational guidelines.
  • Oversee

    income tax computation

    and ensure proper management of employee

    declarations, proofs, and related documentation

    .
  • Coordinate and manage

    internal and external audits

    prepare required data, respond to audit queries, and ensure timely closure of observations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing and compliance for

    PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, and Gratuity

    , and monitor associated

    insurance programs

    (GMC, GPA, GTL).
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable labor legislations including the

    Factories Act, CLRA, Payment of Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, and Minimum Wages Act

    .
  • Maintain

    audit trails, MIS reports, and dashboards

    for payroll and compliance review, supporting

    ISO certification, DPDP compliance

    , and HR documentation requirements.
  • Prepare and present

    monthly MIS reports

    covering attendance analytics, wage cost summaries, and compliance status across all units.
  • Support

    actuarial valuations

    and ensure accurate financial reporting in coordination with the Finance team.
  • Monitor compliance dashboards on

    LexComply

    and ensure prompt closure of open observations.
  • Review and validate

    vendor bills

    , ensuring proper alignment with statutory and contractual records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Masters in HR & relevant domain
  • 5 plus years of experience in Payroll / HR operations / Compliance
  • Good knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Prior experience working in Manufacturing industry.
