This role will have the outstanding opportunity to influence decision making of Search roadmap with their insights.With a vision to find opportunities to drive ground-breaking change in the customer experience and result in significant business growth, we mine the largest datasets in the world of e-Commerce and use best in class analytic and big data techniques to extract impactful insights. We achieve this by partnering closely with the product and engineering teams, and resolve opportunities that are accretive to the product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Conduct, analyze, and deep dive into A/B tests and provide actionable recommendations on improving varuious product features.
- Decode and validate web tracking to analyze user behaviors around new features.
- Develop metrics to measure product success and guide product roadmap.
- Drive self-serve for commonly used metrics by building dashboards and onboarding metrics to experimentation platform.
- Identify new growth opportunities and provide actionable recommendations by leveraging insights across behavioral data, customer research and data science.
To Be Successful In This Role
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Econometrics, Math, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or other related core sciences or equivalent.
- 4+ years relevant professional experience.
- Experience with site experimentation (A/B testing).
- You would have to strike a balance between critical thinking and actual hands-on analyses using tools & packages such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau etc.
- Proactive collaboration and effective communication are needed.
- Flexible and capable of working remotely across multiple time zones. Regular availability is required for meetings between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM (PDT).
Additionally, The Following Background And Experience Is Helpful
- Prior experience in Search and understand how a search engine works.
- Proven track record of turning insights into growth opportunities in prior roles with increasing scope and responsibilities.
- Ability to present complex analyses and insights effectively in simple terms.
- Good experience with both descriptive and inferential statistics.
- Experience in a leading technology company.
- Background in e-commerce product experience.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing or LLM/GenAI is a plus.
