Job Description

As an Account Manager at our company, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the company accounts using cost center. You will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Responsible for over-all accounts & audit functions. - Knowledge of accounts and periodic returns/reports. - Handling salary of the employees. - Managing petty cash. - Finalizing annual accounts including P&L and balance sheet. - Handling banking activities and liaising with banks. - Managing Taxation, IT, GST, PT, TDS, and local tax filings. - Maintaining accounting books, vouchers, etc. as per legal requirements. - Staying updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations applicable to the construction sector. - Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections. - Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff. - Maintaining moveable and fixed asset register. - Maintaining Financial Records. - Providing periodic reports to Management. **Qualifications and Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA) is highly desirable. - In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations. - Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Experience with cost accounting, job costing, and project management software is a plus. - Proficiency in Tally ERP, Tally Prime & Latest Version of Tally, and SAP B-one. - Education- M. Com, Intern or full CA Candidate. In addition to the above, you are expected to have 8 years of experience in Accounting. Fluency in English is preferred. This is a full-time, permanent position with a Day shift schedule from Monday to Friday. Weekend availability may be required. The work location is in person at Dhenkanal, Orissa.
