Job Description

Role & responsibilities Creation of design and specifications for Assembly and the child part of Product using material such as Aluminium, Engineering plastic, Sheet Metal Rubber as per the RFQ requirement of the customer. Follow the design activities for Gate reviews (APQP) structured development process related to Product. Study and Converting customer voice into the cost-effective Part/Product design mainly for Diecasting, Injection moulding, assembly manufacturing process. Evaluate test results define in validation plan and optimize the Component / Product design accordingly. Must be capable enough to realize the DFMEAs. Finalize BOM along with all related information. Handling IMDS data and submission of same to customer. Analysis of CAE Report Problem Solving methodology 8D and 5 WHY. Preferred candidate profile RFQ feasibility within 15 days from received of RFQ. Cost effective design of the product to meet customer requirement of performance and cost. Defect free design release with effective design review and DFMEA. Design the product to achieve RMC and packing cost target. Cost reduction as per plan in annual budget.
