Job Description

Lead and manage the design team responsible for fastener products (screws, bolts, nuts, specialized fasteners etc.).
Develop new fastener designs and refine existing products using CAD / design software (e.g. 3D parametric tools).
Define product specifications, generate detailed drawings/blueprints, perform tolerance and manufacturability analysis, and prepare BOMs (bill of materials).
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement and supply-chain teams to ensure designs are producible and meet quality and cost targets.
Oversee design verification, testing / prototypes, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and company quality policies.
Manage project timelines, budgets and resources; mentor and guide the design team, and coordinate cross-functional efforts across departments.
