Position- Manager - Design & Engineering(WTG) Location : Maharashtra Experience : 7 to 12 Years Qualification : B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering; M.Tech is an added advantage. Job Summary: You will be responsible for the design, engineering, and technical evaluation of wind turbine components for a hybrid power plant. This role involves providing technical expertise, supporting project development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing turbine performance to achieve maximum efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities: WTG Design & Engineering: Lead the design, selection, and engineering evaluation of wind turbine generators (WTGs) for the hybrid power plant. Ensure integration of WTG technology with solar, battery storage, and other hybrid power systems. Collaborate with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams to assess turbine specifications, layout, and performance requirements. Conduct feasibility studies, wind resource assessments, and energy yield analysis. Optimize turbine positioning and foundation design to enhance performance and longevity. Technical Evaluation & Compliance: Review and approve WTG-related technical drawings, specifications, and documents. Ensure compliance with national and international wind energy standards (IEC, IS, and local regulations). Conduct load analysis, grid impact studies, and performance testing of turbines. Work with grid integration teams to ensure seamless power evacuation and stability. Project Execution & Coordination: Support project execution teams by providing technical guidance on WTG installation, commissioning, and operation. Coordinate with EPC contractors, site engineers, and supply chain teams for procurement and logistics of wind turbine components. Conduct site visits to assess installation quality, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor turbine performance using SCADA and other digital platforms. Analyze operational data to identify efficiency improvements and predictive maintenance strategies. Recommend design modifications and technical upgrades to enhance system reliability and output. Stakeholder Management & Reporting: Liaise with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and government authorities for approvals and compliance. Prepare detailed engineering reports, technical documentation, and performance analysis reports. Provide technical training and support to operations and maintenance teams.
