Manager, Decision Systems Data

Role Overview: At HSBC, we are looking for a Manager, Decision Systems Data who will play a crucial role in analyzing and documenting requirements related to credit risk, collection/recoveries, and fraud use cases. As part of the team, you will be responsible for end-to-end data analysis, contributing to progress monitoring, reporting, and assisting in the decomposition of complex business requirements for the Decision Data Store project. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and document requirements with data lineage, transformation rules, and data quality rules for credit risk, collection/recoveries, and fraud use cases. - Own the responsibility for all aspects of data analysis and build knowledge on credit risk, collections, and fraud business areas. - Contribute actively to monitoring and reporting progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to the Program management and internal stakeholders. - Assist business stakeholders in decomposing complex business requirements related to the Decision Data Store (DDS) project. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience. - Graduate/Post Graduate degree from a reputed university with specialization in a numerical discipline. - Strong experience in SAS & SQL is essential. - Knowledge and understanding of financial services/Retail banking operations across the credit cycle is a must. - Strong background working with large-scale data, data management, data quality rules, and data transformation. - Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude and outstanding attention to detail. - Exposure to cloud computing is desirable. - Exposure to JIRA/Confluence for project management activities. - Experience in translating business requirement documents to detailed data and implementation requirements.
