About the Position
The Manager CSR & Health Programs will lead, design, and manage healthcare-based CSR initiatives, working closely with corporate partners, implementation teams, government stakeholders, and community institutions. The role requires strong program management skills, sectoral understanding, and the ability to drive high-quality, scalable health interventions.
Responsibilities
1. Program Strategy & Planning - Design and develop strategies for community health programs (maternal & child health, primary healthcare, NCDs, sanitation & hygiene, mental health, etc.).
- Conduct need assessments and baseline studies to identify gaps and intervention priorities.
- Develop annual work plans, health frameworks, and program roadmaps.
2. Project Management & Implementation - Lead end-to-end implementation of CSR-funded health programs across assigned locations.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality benchmarks, donor commitments, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with field teams, partner NGOs, healthcare institutions, and vendors for smooth execution.
3. Stakeholder & Partner Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with CSR donors, hospitals, government health departments, PHCs/CHCs, and community health workers.
- Represent BharatCares in meetings, reviews, and program visits.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration, expansion, and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
4. Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation - Develop and oversee M&E systems for tracking program outputs and outcomes.
- Monitor field-level progress through regular visits, audits, and review meetings.
- Prepare donor reports (monthly/quarterly/annual), case studies, success stories, and impact dashboards.
5. Budgeting & Financial Oversight - Prepare program budgets, utilization plans, and financial forecasts.
- Ensure cost-effective delivery, optimum resource allocation, and adherence to donor budgets.
- Work closely with the finance team for tracking expenditures and compliances.
6. Proposal Writing & Business Development - Develop proposals, concept notes, and decks for CSR donors in the health sector.
- Participate in donor meetings and contribute to partnership building.
- Support in expanding the health portfolio in the region.
7. Team Leadership - Lead and mentor program coordinators, field officers, and community health workers.
- Build team capacity through training, performance monitoring, and regular feedback.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence.
8. Travel - Travel frequently to project locations, partner sites, health centers, and communities as required.
Mandatory Qualification and Experience:
- Master s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Rural Development, Hospital Administration, or related fields.

in managing CSR/health/NGO/government-led health programs. - Strong understanding of public health systems, government health schemes, and community health models.
- Experience in donor management, field implementation, team handling, and liaising with government authorities.
- Proven ability in proposal writing, project planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local language.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
