Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Manager with 56 years of experience to join our dynamic team in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing client communication, addressing pre-bid contract queries, drafting agreements, vetting NDAs, and guiding teams during the proposal stage. A B.Tech + MBA is required, and an LLB is preferred but not mandatory. This role involves frequent travel to project sites and client locations. Key Responsibilities: Client Communication & Coordination:Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding contractual matters. Ensure effective and timely resolution of client queries during project execution. 1. Contract Review & Compliance:Vet and review NDAs, MoUs, EPC agreements, and subcontractor agreements for risk assessment. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all contracts. 2. Guidance During Proposal Stage:Support internal teams in understanding contractual obligations and risk mitigation strategies. Provide insights on contract terms and conditions relevant to project execution. 3. Risk Management & Compliance:Identify and mitigate contractual risks in collaboration with legal and project teams. Ensure contracts adhere to organizational policies and industry best practices. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams, including legal, finance, procurement, and project management, to support successful project execution. Facilitate seamless communication between clients, subcontractors, and vendors. 5. Frequent Travel Requirement:Travel frequently to project sites, client meetings, and regulatory bodies as needed. Engage with stakeholders on-site to ensure contract compliance and address real-time issues. 6. Documentation & Reporting:Maintain an organized repository of contracts and related documents. Prepare periodic reports on contractual milestones, risks, and compliance status. 7. EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications and Experience: Educational Background:B.Tech + MBA (essential). LLB (preferred but not mandatory). Experience:5–6 years of experience in contract management, with a strong focus on renewable energy (solar) projects. Proven track record in drafting, vetting, and negotiating contracts, NDAs, and MoUs. Skills:Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong understanding of legal frameworks related to contracts in the renewable energy sector. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines effectively. Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software/tools. Key Attributes: Proactive and detail-oriented. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
