Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and potential business partners in the piping industry
  • Prepare and execute business expansion strategies in alignment with company goals.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Assign targets, monitor daily/weekly activities, and ensure accountability across the team.
  • Provide regular training, guidance, and performance feedback to sales and marketing executives.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.

3. Sales Operations & Lead Management

  • Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calls, industry events, and digital platforms.
  • Track and manage leads through the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to understand project requirements.
  • Negotiate and close deals effectively to meet or exceed sales targets.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, contractors, consultants, and distributors.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address client concerns promptly.
  • Develop account management plans for strategic clients.

5. Marketing & Branding

  • Plan and oversee marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for product positioning, pricing strategies, and market communications.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Track sales performance, pipeline progress, and market trends; prepare regular reports for management.
  • Analyze competitors’ activities, pricing, and market positioning to refine company strategies.
  • Forecast sales and budget requirements to support business planning.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in piping / industrial / engineering products sales.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the end-to-end sales cycle and project-based selling.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve performance goals.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong business acumen.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in sales/business development within the piping, valves, fittings, or related industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
