Job Title/Designation : Manager Business Development Preferred Candidates : B.E/B.Tech Mechanical/Automobile/Production Experience : 7-10 years Job Location : Thane Mumbai /Chennai Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development and managing customer relationships across multiple automotive tiers and OEMs. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Segment Head to develop leads, identify new business opportunities, and close sales within the Automobile Tier 1, Tier 2, and OEM segments. Create and execute strategies to expand the organizations product reach by identifying and attracting new customers. Analyze the market landscape, competitors' pricing policies, and perform SWOT analysis to stay ahead of market trends and adapt strategies for better market positioning. Contribute actively to the sales and marketing efforts to accelerate customer acquisition, improve brand visibility, and boost sales. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and seminars, showcasing product offerings and engaging potential customers. Foster strong relationships with existing customers and ensure a seamless experience, from obtaining required samples and drawings to negotiating internal pricing. Manage and resolve customer complaints, aiming for resolution at the earliest to maintain customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. Desired Skills: Functional Expertise : Strong background in New Business Development , with hands-on experience in closing deals and expanding customer bases. Strong market intelligence and awareness of competitors pricing policies, strengths, and weaknesses to better position the company in the market. Ability to perform detailed SWOT analysis of competitors and adapt strategies based on changing market dynamics. Skills & Abilities : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to understand business challenges and provide actionable solutions. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and build long-term customer relationships. Ambitious, proactive, and able to set ambitious deliverables for the team while ensuring compliance across processes. Proven track record in identifying business opportunities and closing sales to ensure customer satisfaction. Travel Requirements : Willingness and ability to travel PAN India regions on a regular basis to meet clients, attend events, and strengthen business relationships. Relationships : Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships with OEMs , Tier 1 , and Tier 2 suppliers, ensuring consistent business development and growth.
