Job Description

Purpose of the Role Drives Business Planning, Accounting and Budgeting along with driving efficiency and profitability. Responsible for developing comprehensive business and financial plans, preparing accurate and timely reports, and driving opportunities to grow the business. Responsible for the growth of Business and revenues via robust and detailed analysis within the limits of the overall financial strategy. Handle FP&A function for Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Business plans, Monthly Reports on Performance, Forecasting of the business, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow of the business KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Partner in achieving AOP, maintaining timelines for MIS, business analysis on P&L covering Sales, Margin and Cost, and other reporting requirements specific to the Brand. MIS - Format / Region wise / Store wise & Category-wise performance and other reports Review all cost elements and report variances. Month-end closing books of account activities and review the general ledger for the BU and ensure timely closure of accounts. P&L forecasting & cash flow. Monitor P&L and Balance Sheet items movement Monitor expenses versus budget, track the variances, recommend corrective actions and follow up on remedial actions to ensure adherence to the budget and to support the effective monitoring of performance within the budget. Monitor and Control Marketing investment. Retail productivity/Key Matrix/Inventory Dashboard Provide a consolidated view of the business financial and operational performance across geographies and assist with business planning, reporting and forecasting activities Preparation & presentation of Key performance indicator of the business. Adhere to established SOP/processes and Identify and fix the process gaps if any. Collaborative working with other teams Institute and maintain processes that would ensure the integrity and timeliness of financial, cost and management accounting and reporting Analyze financial and operating performance regularly and interpret them to management and suggest course corrections where necessary Prepare forecasted profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow
