About the Role

Australian Taxation & Accounting Specialist

at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Australian taxation

Key Responsibilities

Australian Taxation

• Prepare and review

  Individual, Company, Trust, and Partnership tax returns

  as per

  ATO

  standards.
• Manage preparation and lodgement of

  BAS, IAS, PAYG

  , and other statutory filings.
• Handle

  GST, FBT, CGT, and Payroll Tax

  requirements.
• Conduct tax planning, identify allowable deductions, and support clients with queries.

Accounting & Compliance

• Prepare

  monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  , including P&L and Balance Sheets.
• Perform

  bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews

  , and error identification.
• Ensure compliance with

  Australian Accounting Standards (AASB)

  .
• Review work completed by junior team members for accuracy.

Client & Team Management

• Manage communication with Australian clients in a professional manner.
• Oversee a team of accountants, allocate tasks, and ensure output quality.
• Mentor and train team members in Australian taxation procedures.
• Ensure all deadlines are met with high accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Any Graduate or Postgraduate

  degree (Commerce/Finance preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience

  managing a team

  in a tax or accounting environment.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
