Job Description

**Role Overview:** As a Manager at Tesco, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, creating an environment for success, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance. Your role will involve collaborating with the UK Asset & Estates team on specialized areas such as Rent Review, Landlord's Consent, Valuations, Business Rates, and Lease management. Additionally, you will diagnose operational challenges, evaluate risks, and deliver great results through analysis and judgement. Your inputs will impact the function's plans, policies, and budget, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and lead a high performing team, setting direction and coaching them for success - Design continuous improvement initiatives to drive performance within the team - Achieve team objectives, manage stakeholders, and escalate issues as needed - Collaborate with the UK Asset & Estates team on specialized areas like Rent Review, Valuations, and Lease management - Liaise with external consultants and internal colleagues for accurate process implementations - Monitor workload to identify resource requirements and agree on task priorities - Recommend solutions to operational challenges and evaluate risks for mitigation - Deliver excellent results through analysis and judgement - Influence the function's plans, policies, and budget with your inputs - Promote a culture of continuous improvement and drive operational enhancements **Qualifications Required:** - Preferred RICS educational background or MRICS - Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Data mining and numeracy skills - Training delivery experience - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Excellent planning, organizing, and analytical abilities - Proficient in stakeholder management and operations management - Demonstrated operational excellence in previous roles **About the Company:** Tesco in Bengaluru is a multi-disciplinary team focused on serving customers, communities, and the planet.
